Научно-практический центр детской онкологии, гематологии и иммунологии (далее – Центр) является ведущим специализированным медицинским учреждением в Республике Узбекистан, оказывающим высококвалифицированную медицинскую помощь детям с онкологическими, гематологическими и иммунологическими заболеваниями. Центр осуществляет лечебно-диагностическую, научно-исследовательскую и методическую деятельность, направленную на совершенствование оказания медицинской помощи детям с тяжелыми заболеваниями.
Legal basis of activity
The center was created on the basis of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 27, 2021 No. UP-5130 “On further improvement of the system for providing hematological and oncological services to the population”, as well as the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated October 13, 2021 No. 643.An important role in the development of the Center is played by Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 657 dated November 15, 2022 “On measures to improve the system of treatment of oncohematological, oncological, primary immunodeficiency and intractable diseases of the blood system.” As part of this resolution, construction work is underway on two 5-story aseptic buildings, a 200-bed hostel and a specialized room for a linear accelerator.In addition, according to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PP-183 dated May 21, 2024 “On measures to further improve the provision of medical care to children suffering from oncological, hematological and immunological diseases”, the Center has been assigned priority tasks, including:
• Increasing the survival rate of children with cancer;• Introduction of modern diagnostic and treatment protocols;• Development of hematopoietic stem cell transplantation;• Improving the system of specialized care and rehabilitation.
